Blood Red Throne es una banda de Death Metal originaria de Kristiansand, Noruega. Fue fundada en 1998 y se mantiene en estado activo.

El sonido de Blood Red Throne se caracteriza por ser puro y descarnado Death Metal sin concesiones, evitando elementos melódicos o progresivos para centrarse en la brutalidad y la velocidad. A lo largo de su carrera, la banda ha mantenido una filosofía de simplicidad y contundencia, entregando riffs potentes, ritmos de batería implacables y voces guturales profundas. La banda fue formada por Daniel “Død” Olaissen (guitarra) e Ivan “Meathook” Gujic (guitarra), quienes han sido las fuerzas creativas principales a pesar de los cambios constantes en la alineación del bajista, baterista y vocalista.
