The Wave Pictures es un prolífico trío de rock formado en 1998 en Wymeswold, Reino Unido, consolidado como una de las piezas fundamentales de la escena lo-fi y el anti-folk europeo. La banda destaca por su enfoque artesanal y honesto de la música, evitando artificios de producción para centrarse en la química cruda de sus tres integrantes. Liderados por la distintiva voz y el virtuosismo técnico de David Tattersall en la guitarra, su sonido es una amalgama de pop melódico, blues clásico y rock alternativo con letras irónicas y costumbristas.
