Portrait (Portrait – Heavy Metal)

Portrait es una destacada agrupación de heavy metal formada en Kristianstad, Escania (Suecia), en el año 2005. La banda se ha consolidado dentro del panorama internacional gracias a su sólida fidelidad al heavy metal de corte clásico y tradicional de la vieja escuela, mostrando influencias directas del sonido escandinavo y británico con una atmósfera oscura y temática centrada en el satanismo y la oscuridad. Caracterizados por pasajes de guitarra veloces, potentes agudos vocales y una base rítmica arrolladora, se han convertido en una figura clave del sello Metal Blade Records. Con múltiples producciones discográficas a sus espaldas y participaciones en importantes festivales europeos, la formación sueca continúa defendiendo con rotundidad la esencia pura del heavy metal subterráneo y conceptual.
